My name is Lilya. I live in a small town in Israel, where the rhythm of life is gentle and inspiration drifts in like morning light — through a window, across a velvet stone, beside a cat sleeping in my jewelry trays.
This is where Orétoille was born: in a sunlit corner of my home, beside my ever-curious cat Casper, and with the steady encouragement of my partner — whose quiet support gave me the courage to take this dream seriously.
My love for jewelry began in childhood, sifting through my mother’s collection, enchanted by the tiny treasures that seemed to hold entire worlds. Later, under the quiet guidance of my father — a jeweler himself — I learned the language of tools and textures, and the joy of transforming raw materials into something meaningful.
Orétoille means golden star — from or (gold) and étoile (star) in French. It’s a name that holds everything I believe in: light, beauty, emotion, and the art of slowing down.
I work primarily with 14k gold, moissanites, and natural gemstones like sapphires, rubies, emeralds, and tourmalines. For more accessible treasures, I also work with sterling silver — a soft, luminous metal that brings lightness and ease to everyday wear.
Some pieces are delicate and dreamlike, others bold and full of quiet story — but all are crafted with intention, care, and a sense of intimacy. I believe jewelry should not only be beautiful — it should feel personal. Like memory. Like meaning. Like magic.
Thank you for stepping into my world. Whether you’re choosing a gift or something just for yourself, I hope you find a piece that feels like it already belongs to you.
With warmth,
Lilya
